Noise Singapore

Do you want to showcase your artistic talents but do not know of any place to do it? Here's a place where you can not only showcase your works, you may even earn a place in the The Apprenticeship Programme (TAP). Below is an extract from the Noise Singapore website about what Noise is:

"An initiative of the National Arts Council, Noise Singapore is Singapore’s foremost youth arts festival, dedicated to creating noise about the creative talents of youths below the age of 35 in Singapore. Instead of presenting these works in conventional exhibitions held at predictable spaces, Noise works will be seen and heard across all media channels such as the Internet, radio, television, magazines and newspapers, allowing them to be seen by the world, enabling the nation’s best young talents to get spotted for their creativity.

Noise Singapore also aims to unearth new talent and inspire groundbreaking content from youths in Singapore. With a series of workshops and concert platforms organised to give promising Noise artists the necessary exposure and skills, young people from all walks of life now have the opportunity to actively participate in the arts, instead of merely being passive audiences."
