Band Camp 2008 On the 12th December to 15th December 2008, NYJCSB had their annual band camp but with a twist. A Malaysian Symphonic Band from Hin Hua High School was invited to join them during the course of the camp. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On the 3rd day of the camp, 14th December 2008, NYJSB and HHSB had a joint concert in the NYJC's Lecture Theatre 4. NYJCSB started off the concert with "English Folk Song Suite" followed by "With Heart And Voice" and ended off the concert with "A Christmas Festival" in lieu with the season of christmas coming on that month. Following a intermission, HHSB continue with "Poet and Peasant Overture" and "You Raised Me Up" , concluding the individual bands performance and leading into the combined piece, " Young Man-YMCA" and the encore piece, "March Blue Sky".
