French Horn Section
The French Horn is a versatile and amazing instrument which allows one to play any one part of a piece, be it the bass line, harmony, counter melody and even the melody! Which totally makes the horn even more irresistible! Of course, we also have 2 amazing hornists in the current NYJCSB playing the Horn, namely, Josiah and Mabel! We’re both DSA students, which means we knew each other even before school started this year. This also means that we’ve been trying to build up rapport and enjoy the making of music since then. The both of us are not exactly very musical to speak of- we don’t have music backgrounds, but we do love the horn and want to continue to excel in it. J Josiah is always the happy apple (like direct translation from Kai Xin Guo, lol) of the section. He always makes Mabel laugh like, CRAZY. Which totally makes sectionals fun and light hearted. BUT OF COURSE, we’re serious when we want too. J Nevertheless, Josiah always pisses Mabel off easily too. Which makes her hopping mad and Josiah in turn, will just be really happy about it. (SEE THIS JOSIAH FONG REN JING??? STOP MAKING ME ANGRY!!!) Mabel and Josiah never fail to quarrel each time they meet and it always teaches them something new about each other each time, which is totally cool. Want to know more?
