For
your benefit and the benefit of all future users of the GYM, we seek your
cooperation in abiding to the following rules and etiquette. Any students
caught violating these rules may be subjected to disciplinary action.
3) If you have a pre-existing medical condition, please consult a doctor to seek professional advice before embarking on any physical workout. 4) Should you experience faintness, tightness in the chest and breathlessness at any point of your workout, please stop and seek help from the nearest person. 5) Do familiarise
yourselves with the correct way in using the machines/ free weights, if
unsure: 6) Always work in pairs at free weight stations to ensure that there is proper spotting especially when using heavy weights. 7) ALWAYS wear fully covered shoes. 8) Do not slam/throw the weights or abuse the gym equipment. This is to maintain the gym equipment and to ensure everyone’s safety. 9) Kindly return THE WEIGHTS AND EQUIPMENT BACK to their designated area after use. 10) Report any malfunction/damage of the gym equipment to any PE teacher. 11) CCA teacher-in-charge must take responsibility of their CCA students having training in the gym. 12) All warm up or cooling down exercises should be done OUTSIDE the gym. 13) In case of emergency, seek the nearest help (students or staff) available. Helpers please inform the nearest teacher, and then report the incident to the general office. Etiquette 1) Use a TOWEL to wipe off your perspiration on the seat after using equipment. It will help to prolong the life span of the leather. 2) Only COLLEGE RELATED ATTIRE is allowed in the gym. 3) Do NOT consume FOOD/ DRINKS in the gym as these items will attract undesirable ants and cockroaches. 4) Please SWITCH OFF the LIGHTS if you are the last person to leave the gym to save electricity. 5) Do not hog any gym equipment and let others have their turn.
