Objectives of Pilates
This workshop aims to expose participants to the breadth of the Pilates work and introduce them to basic body awareness which includes posture, breathing and balance. This will in turn equip them with tools on how to care and protect their body and be more efficient in doing functional daily activities.

Description of Programme
In this Program, participants are exposed to a whole spectrum of Pilate’s principles, movement fundamentals and basic Pilates mat work exercises. The workshop will commence with a brief talk on Pilates and its benefits. Then, the instructor will also run through a quick posture check and give some simple tips on back care. After this, the instructor will lead them to an hour of Pilate’s workout whereby they will be introduced to a series of challenging, low impact, high intensity exercises that will target their deep core muscles while working on balance, control of movement, flexibility, strength and breath.
