Aikido
Objectives
of Aikido
Gives students a basic understanding on the concept of self-defense
with a soft martial art. With Aikido techniques that harmonize and
blend with the attack, one need not be strong or powerful to do
self-defense. Introduce values of respect & care for others,
the importance of non-violence & harmony. Allow students to
experience Aikido as multi-faceted: it is self-defense, it allows
physical interaction with friends, it is good for mind-training
and focus, it is also an enjoyable workout.
