Dinner and fun at Prom 07

To a multitude of popping flashbulbs, NYJC students caught themselves in their spiffy formal attire on digital memories at the NYJC Dinner & Dance 2007.
The event was held at the Marriott Hotel to a fusion of a Salsa theme with a 10-course Chinese dinner.
Amidst feasting on dishes of crispy chicken, a mushroom medley and other traditional favourites, NYJCians were kept busy by the MC who kept driving them with impromptu scavenger hunts, pop quizzes, and improvised entertainments.
Among the most sporting performances of the night were Phua Poh Boon who went Bollywood on stage, and Mitzi who was enthralling with her graceful Vietnamese chopstick dance. Both scored serious "points" for their respective "teams".
In a contest of popularity and stage entertainment, Benjamin Tan -- in an all-white attire including his bleached blonde hair -- and Syimah were crowned Prom King and Queen respectively. Benjamin Hustled his way to the top, while Syimah and her chair were... unforgettable.
A few lucky NYJCians also walked away with shopping vouchers, hotel dinner vouchers and an 80-gig i-Pod classic before the night was over.
