Immersion Camp – Day Two
At the early hours of 8.30am, our reporters came down, once again, to NYJC to bring you the latest news on the events of day two at NYJC’s immersion camp.

Today’s programmes were oriented in a manner such that they were focused on answering the questions of potential JC1s regarding their subject combinations as well as other extra-curricular programmes that NYJC has to offer. These included classroom sessions that briefed them on Economics and Project Work.
Our reporters having interviewed a number of participants, realized that there was much positive feedback in regards to the lessons. “I was very attracted to the outgoing nature of the teachers and I believe that I would be to sustain my attention in class,” said a female participant.

Participants also showed great interest in the lifestyles of JC life, particularly in the setting up of student interest groups (SIGs) as it allows them to find others who shared their hobbies.

The event was deemed a success so far by both teachers and participants alike, apart from some miscommunication between the school and the food caterers, the event was entirely smooth sailing. Teachers also mentioned a good attendance for the participants and participants in turn felt that the program was well-presented as well.
On a final note, please look forward to the last installment on the Immersion Camp tomorrow!
