Nanyang Film Festival – Coming Soon To An LT Near You

Three weeks from now, the students of NYJC will be treated to a unique NY event. The annual Nanyang Film Festival this year will see the screening of the newly produced film by FilmArt’s J1 members.

Initiated in 2005 as I.Nnovation and known today as FilmArt, this CCA has received awards in local film festivals for their films and music. Last year’s Film Festival was headed by the president Dickson Sim and saw great success.

This year, witness another accomplishment by FilmArt. On the 25th of August, a Monday evening at 7.30 p.m. Nanyang JC’s LT4 will be the venue of the maiden screening for the film newly produced this year. Grab this experience for $4 and bring enough to get your hands on snacks; the school’s Biz Club will be selling snacks as part of collaboration with FilmArt.

NYConnexions will be following FilmArt in a Special Series spanned over the weeks before the screening; The Nanyang Film Festival Series will feature the film trailer and give you a sneak peek at the story and the cast. Do make sure to also look out for a special interview after the screening!

So set aside time for the screening day and come down for a good time!
