Essentially, its purpose is to make communications an easier affair for all students. CCAs can publicize their upcoming events, students can check dates of important events by looking at the LCD TV and even event tickets can be sold through booking the C² booth with the Student Council. There is also an Internet Kiosk where everyone can surf the Internet with. Hopefully, the C² point will bring greater convenience for all NYJCians!

Our very own Lion Dance Troupe!

Internet kiosk! Here s a chance!

After the opening ceremony, NYCX also managed to catch hold of our very own principal, Mr Kwek, and asked him a few questions.

NYCX: What are your comments regarding the Connect and Contact point?

Mr. Kwek: This is a very unique place where students can connect, contact and engage while encouraging CCAs to engage with one another. Frankly speaking, we spent quite a bit in building this C² booth but the college does not mind one bit because NYJCians are very important to us. On a side note, I really look forward to this opening as I hope this can help all NYJCians!

NYCX: What do you think will be the most memorable thing about this event?

Mr. Kwek: I think the most memorable thing would be the free flow of popcorn. The college spent about $200 for the students. This is very special because it is the first time NYJC has ever given free flow of popcorn to students.

Done by: Joy Chua
