Be Yourself Day 2008

On Be Yourself Day, which was held in conjunction with Arts Week 2008 at NYJC, one could notice a significant change in attire of many students. Most had shed their usual Friday dress-down wear for interesting costumes that allowed them to express themselves in a creative manner.

Office workers, army officers, nurses and even characters from popular anime series could be spotted walking around the school. Some opted for less attention-grabbing outfits while others unleashed their creativity and wore unique costumes that caused heads to swivel and provided entertainment to the student population. Several eye-catching costumes attracted our reporter’s attention…
