National Day Students' Video Competition 2007

Our country's birthday is round the corner and to prepare ourselves for this birthday bash the abovementioned competition is on!

The National Day Video is an annual National Education project by the Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts (MICA) and the National Heritage Board (NHB) as a contribution towards the National Day celebrations. The video is normally aired on television during the month of August and also disseminated via VCDs to all schools and government agencies.

The National Day Video project will turn 10 this year, and the 2007 video will focus on social issues facing Singapore and Singaporeans. To capture the spirit of today and to encourage participation from the schools, NHB is co-organising a National Day Students’ Video Competition together with the Ministry of Education (MOE).

The winning and/or shortlisted entries would be aired on MediaCorp TV channels as well as outdoor broadcast platforms during the month of August.

Prizes for the competition:

1st prize: $5,000 cash
2nd prize: $3,000 cash
3rd prize: $2,000 cash
Three consolation prizes: $1,000 each
