On 31 August 2011, the 34th Student Council organized the annual Teachers’ Day Celebration for our teachers as a form of appreciation and recognition of the effort the teachers have put in for NYJCians. “Our Perfect Song” was the theme for this year’s celebration. This theme was derived from the celebration of how our teachers guide us in our studies and learning, just like how composers and song writers would create a song for a singer to sing. It was this idea of teachers and students coming together that we celebrated on this year’s Teachers’ Day: A perfect song of teaching and learning, the bond between teacher and student.
