Nanyang Junior College 32nd Student Council organised Orientation 2010 on the 28th, 29th January, 1st and 2nd February for the new batch of JC1 students. The 32nd Student Council, led by Ye Yimei and advised by Ms Ng Sio Hoon and Ms Belinda Loh Mei Lin, planned an array of activities to familiarize the JC1s with the new environment and to let them experience the school spirit so that they will have a sense of belonging to the college. The theme for this year’s orientation was “UP-Beyond Limits” with the 4 tribes named Nova, Yancey, Junkers and Connor.
Singapore Perspectives is an annual flagship conference organised by the Institute of Policy Studies and the LKY School of Public Policy, aimed at engaging Singaporeans in issues close to our hearts. This year, the conference took place on the 25th of January at Raffles City Convention Centre.
